I research how to exponentially diffuse the Commons as a contemporary urban practice. I aim to make a contribution in the aesthetic and strategic departments, with a queer approach and a glocal scale. In my practice, I've been able to land wildly speculative ideas as workable and participatory prototypes that suggest a near future utopia is possible. In June 2021 I completed the Social Design master at Design Academy Eindhoven with a project about decentralized groceries. Before that, I've been working as a graphic designer and art director in the communication industry for 10 years, co-designing books, websites, packaging, brands, places, and campaigns. I hold a bachelor in Communication Sciences, the semiotics centered faculty founded by Umberto Eco. I graduated with a thesis on the visual legibility of the city, comparing the theory of Kevin Lynch with the practice of Mike Rawlinson's studio City ID. I always paralleled my studio work with a keen interest in the reappropriation of urban space by the citizens, learning from various autonomous groups and practices in Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin. In 2018 and 2019 I was part of the artists collective x-embassy, in the premises of the former Australian embassy in the GDR in Berlin Pankow. I am currently based in Berlin.
